TOPPENISH — A 55-year-old White Swan man was in satisfactory condition at a Yakima hospital after rolling his pickup on McDonald Road, north of Toppenish, on Friday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol said George Norcross was traveling east on McDonald Road, east of McKinley Road, when his 1997 Ford Ranger pickup drifted onto the shoulder of the road. According to the State Patrol, when Norcross overcorrected, the truck rolled over, coming to rest in a hop field.
Norcross was taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Troopers said the pickup was destroyed in the 12:20 p.m. accident. Norcross was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
